REGULATIONS FOR ANIMAL ACCESS TO SIAM MALL SHOPPING CENTER
1. General Access Rules
1.1. The entry of companion animals is allowed, provided that the provisions established in Law 7/2023 on the Protection of Animal Rights and Welfare, as well as other applicable regulations, are met.
1.2. Dogs and cats must wear a collar and leash at all times. They are not allowed to roam freely within the premises.
1.3. The access of assistance animals, including guide and therapy dogs, is guaranteed in accordance with current legislation.
2. Responsibility of Owners or Handlers
2.1. Animals must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult. They may not be tied up or left unattended on pillars, outdoor areas, or common areas of the shopping center.
2.2. The owner or handler is fully responsible for any damage their animal may cause to property, facilities, people, or other animals within the premises.
2.3. The owner must ensure the hygiene, safety, and well-being of the animal, preventing any situations that may cause discomfort to other visitors.
3. Hygiene and Coexistence Rules
3.1. It is strictly forbidden for pets to relieve themselves in any common area of the shopping center.
3.2. Owners must carry and use bags to collect their animals’ waste. Cleaning up any mess caused by the animal is the sole responsibility of the owner or handler.
3.3. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the expulsion of the animal from the shopping center.
4. Animals with Special Security Requirements
4.1. Law 7/2023 eliminates the list of potentially dangerous dog breeds (PPP). However, dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior or have been involved in previous incidents must wear an approved muzzle and a leash no longer than 1.5 meters.
4.2. If the animal displays aggressive or risky behavior, security personnel may ask the owner to leave the premises.
4.3. Owners of such dogs must provide proof of training and control in accordance with the provisions of the Animal Welfare Law.
5. Access Limitations and Use of Facilities
5.1. Pets are only allowed in the common areas of the shopping center. Access to individual stores is subject to the discretion of each store owner.
5.2. The entry of exotic animals, such as reptiles, arachnids, or birds, is not permitted.
5.3. The use of escalators and ramps requires carrying animals in one’s arms, except for assistance animals.
6. Right of Admission and Exclusion
6.1. The shopping center reserves the right of admission and may request the removal of any animal in the following cases:
- Failure to comply with these regulations.
- Aggressive or dangerous behavior of the animal.
- Lack of hygiene or signs of contagious disease in the animal.
6.2. Bringing an animal into the shopping center implies full acceptance of these regulations and the exemption of the shopping center from any liability for incidents related to the animal’s presence.
